Rozen Lipsky made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ibing Tauhid in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Bandung Tigers booed when G.R. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben-Ami Amran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ben-Ami Amran to make the kick off.
