The NFC Eagles 22 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elbert Gulpen should have stopped the shot. Yotam Tamir hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Elbert Gulpen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuval Laban in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Ben-Ami Amran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Elbert Gulpen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute, Yuval Laban left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The G.R. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 34th minute, Yavin Warner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. NFC Eagles 22's Eric Eefting quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Yotam Tamir, made in the 36th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Heijer got free with Rozen Lipsky in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rozen Lipsky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Heijer in the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ben-Ami Amran was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of G.R. booed when NFC Eagles 22 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sjef Meinders didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elbert Gulpen was a little too slow when Ben-Ami Amran got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-7. If Rafael Heijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elbert Gulpen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben-Ami Amran in the 64th minute of the match. In the 70thth minute of the game Rafael Heijer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but G.R.'s Rozen Lipsky was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ben-Ami Amran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Elbert Gulpen made a huge save. In the 77th minute, Bastiaan Rekers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Giovanni Ben Yochay managed to get in a good position for a shot. G.R.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Giovanni Ben Yochay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elbert Gulpen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ben-Ami Amran in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elbert Gulpen saved NFC Eagles 22 from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuval Laban in the 83rd minute of play forced NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper Elbert Gulpen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ben-Ami Amran's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Elbert Gulpen firmly grabbed it by the left post. Elbert Gulpen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuval Laban in the 85th minute of the match. Rafael Heijer kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Yuval Laban kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elbert Gulpen.
