With a little luck, MegaFenerbahce's Rafet Akçiçek got control of the ball when Renatinho Braga tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Renatinho Braga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rafet Akçiçek. Renatinho Braga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Garcia in the 30th minute of play forced MegaFenerbahce's goalkeeper Rafet Akçiçek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Renatinho Braga in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Garcia in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafet Akçiçek saved MegaFenerbahce from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Garcia made a kick off. Rafet Akçiçek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatinho Braga, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 63 minutes into the game, Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Francisco Garcia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafet Akçiçek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Rafet Akçiçek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Elivélton Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Rafet Akçiçek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Garcia took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafet Akçiçek. Rafet Akçiçek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. After 85 minutes, Artur Rezende mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Desportiva Paulo Afonso and the MegaFenerbahce players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Desportiva Paulo Afonso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Rezende to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Renatinho Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafet Akçiçek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Renatinho Braga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafet Akçiçek. MegaFenerbahce's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renatinho Braga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0.
