Angelo Chago might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Concetto Bani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelo Chago ran back to his position shaking his head. 7 minutes into the game, Fortunato Pugliese was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calenzano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galácticos del Pueblo the free kick. The supporters of Galácticos del Pueblo booed when Calenzano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fortunato Pugliese didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Salerno kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Angelo Chago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Bani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Antonio Gizzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 minutes of play, Calenzano's Antonio Gizzi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After having played for 39 minutes, Ignacio Justin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galácticos del Pueblo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Justin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Galácticos del Pueblo's Angelo Chago ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Concetto Bani. Concetto Bani yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After the first half Calenzano were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvaro Aloisi to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Antonio Gizzi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bartolo Salomone. That made the score 1-3 in the 53 minute of play. Bartolo Salomone made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Anfilogino Traini sent off a good shot on target. Bartolo Salomone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Aloisi, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Alberto Salerno didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Alvaro Aloisi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bartolo Salomone. Alvaro Aloisi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-7. Calenzano's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
