In the 11thth minute of the game Jorginho Maia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Saubrigues's Éluard Coulomb was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Estrela Solitária's goal looked a bit too open when Faudel Langlois came free, but Mário Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Alagoano in the 17th minute of play forced FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Éluard Coulomb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goal looked a bit too open when Enio Travassos came free, but Éluard Coulomb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Jorginho Maia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estrela Solitária fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goal looked a bit too open when Jorginho Maia came free, but Éluard Coulomb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes, Adrien Cariou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Saubrigues and the Estrela Solitária players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Estrela Solitária booed when FC Saubrigues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrien Cariou didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorginho Maia in the 29th minute of play forced FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Éluard Coulomb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Enio Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Éluard Coulomb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Éluard Coulomb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Alagoano in the 38th minute of the match. After 42 minutes of play, Estrela Solitária's Enio Travassos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Éluard Coulomb was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, FC Saubrigues's Éluard Coulomb got control of the ball when Vitinho Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goal looked a bit too open when Enio Travassos came free, but Éluard Coulomb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Estrela Solitária's Enio Travassos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Éluard Coulomb. Éluard Coulomb made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitinho Gonçalves in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Éluard Coulomb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vitinho Gonçalves. Faudel Langlois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Quirino having to interfere. In the 88th minute Faudel Langlois shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Betão Passos hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Mário Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faudel Langlois, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Estrela Solitária played a much better game than FC Saubrigues and deserved their victory. The FC Saubrigues players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
