Fausto Teofilio scored 1-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lennart Koekkoek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Stephan van Veldhuizen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Darkness's goal looked a bit too open when Martijn van Alst came free, but Esteban Balendin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Rami charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Rami the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Darkness getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Tobias Rami hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Tobias Rami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Koekkoek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silverio Montrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Koekkoek having to interfere. Silverio Montrel scored 1-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lennart Koekkoek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Esteban Balendin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martijn van Alst in the 39th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Han Koekkoek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sheep United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Darkness the free kick. Silverio Montrel scored 1-3 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lennart Koekkoek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martijn van Alst made a kick off. Lennart Koekkoek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Florentino Raymond received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lennart Koekkoek came out and tried to block the shot, but Florentino Raymond slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 56th minute. Lennart Koekkoek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Teofilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Silverio Montrel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lennart Koekkoek. Silverio Montrel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. In the 67th minute, Darkness's Florentino Raymond ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lennart Koekkoek. Lennart Koekkoek yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Martijn van Alst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Esteban Balendin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Martijn van Alst was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sheep United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Darkness the free kick. Martijn van Alst hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Teofilio in the 78th minute of play forced Sheep United's goalkeeper Lennart Koekkoek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sheep United's Lennart Koekkoek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Sheep United from getting a goal against them. Lennart Koekkoek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silverio Montrel in the 81st minute. After 98 played minutes Sheep United got a freekick which was hit by Gert Jan Moek. Darkness's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
