The referee showed Federico Martxelin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Federico Martxelin. Arturo Flores charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Atlanta booed when Las 3R Club De Fútbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Gutierrez didn't get a good kick on the ball. C. A. Atlanta's Braulio Berasko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renzo Rodrigo in the 24th minute of play. After 32 played minutes Las 3R Club De Fútbol got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Ourente. With a little luck, C. A. Atlanta's Braulio Berasko got control of the ball when Haroldo Sansone tried to sneak it across the goal line. Las 3R Club De Fútbol's Blas Otsoko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Flores in the 36th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arturo Flores to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Federico Martxelin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Martxelin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arturo Flores did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Blas Otsoko 54 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Atlanta's zone, Ivan Mogel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Berasko came out of the goal and Ivan Mogel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute Arturo Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Otsoko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Martxelin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Blas Otsoko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Flores was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 75 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Flores. Braulio Berasko came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Las 3R Club De Fútbol's Haroldo Sansone. But to his dismay, Haroldo Sansone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Nicasio Primeiro hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Renzo Rodrigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st match minute, C. A. Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Gonsalvo to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Las 3R Club De Fútbol had played much better football throughout.
