Spectators: 7464 (Terracing: 5599, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luis Ubelteso kicked off to start the match. Marco Sugoi kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Sid Park had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Lizer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ewan Hughes in the 16th minute of the match. LOS MENTI's German Lizer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Frew in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Robin Laidlaw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LOS MENTI's Luis Ubelteso was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 29th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Max Gilespie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Ubelteso in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Henry Frew hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Gavião Kyikatejê defense, Luis Ubelteso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Max Gilespie. The Gavião Kyikatejê fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Max Gilespie should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rod Reidfurd was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Clemente Belasko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rod Reidfurd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but German Lizer made a huge save. When Ewan Hughes came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Gavião Kyikatejê fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ewan Hughes couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute Gavião Kyikatejê were awarded a corner. Henry Simpson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ewan Hughes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but LOS MENTI's German Lizer did a great save. 59 minutes into the match, LOS MENTI's goalkeeper German Lizer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rod Reidfurd. German Lizer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregor Nelson in the 65th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gavião Kyikatejê's Henry Frew slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of German Lizer. That made the score 2-2 after 66 minutes of play. 71 minutes into the game, Gavião Kyikatejê's Rod Reidfurd nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. German Lizer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After a rather tough play, Gavião Kyikatejê's Gregor Nelson got a free kick in the 74th minute. Max Gilespie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Sugoi in the 76th minute of the match. LOS MENTI's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Ewan Hughes scored to the left of an out of position German Lizer, making the score, 2-4. In the 84th minute, Ewan Hughes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of German Lizer. The goal made the score 2-5. With his leg German Lizer managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Gavião Kyikatejê's Rod Reidfurd fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 95 minutes, Marco Sugoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LOS MENTI and the Gavião Kyikatejê players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to LOS MENTI getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Marco Sugoi hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gavião Kyikatejê eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
