A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Attilio Fortunato hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the game, Niclas Ånger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Myggenäs IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valdieri the free kick. After 13 played minutes Myggenäs IFK got a freekick which was hit by Niclas Ånger. When Magnus Andreasson fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Myggenäs IFK's protests and gave Magnus Andreasson a yellow card for diving instead. Magnus Andreasson kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Ove Alströmmer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Aurelio Di Lullo made a huge save. In the 26th minute, Ove Alströmmer made a precise shot to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. Valdieri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After some careless play in the Myggenäs IFK defense, Attilio Fortunato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conny Mattsson. The Myggenäs IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conny Mattsson should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Harry Sandberg in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Valdieri's Alessandro Mascitti. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Attilio Fortunato to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magne Wickander in the 56th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Aurelio Di Lullo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Ove Alströmmer made a precise shot to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. Valdieri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 61st minute, Ove Alströmmer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elia Cicchini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Conny Mattsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Di Lullo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Alströmmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Myggenäs IFK's Magne Wickander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Di Lullo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 78th minute, Attilio Fortunato ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
