With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Gitano in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilson de Amorim saved B-S-L from getting behind. 41 minutes into the game, Hugo Gitano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tabossi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave B-S-L the free kick. Hugo Gitano kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Nilson de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Firme in the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Adolfo Fontes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Americo Firmin fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. B-S-L's Ruy de Amaral has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. Carmelo Roldan's late challenge caught a B-S-L's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmelo Roldan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tabossi getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Carmelo Roldan hit a great ball. Alfredo Capixaba charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Capixaba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, B-S-L's Alfredo Capixaba got a free kick in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Firme in the 92nd minute of play forced B-S-L's goalkeeper Nilson de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 minutes, Ruy de Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the B-S-L and the Tabossi players grew even worse after the yellow card.
