Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) B-S-L's João Adolfo Fontes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the B-S-L defense, Edgar Domini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilson de Amorim. The B-S-L fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilson de Amorim should have stopped the shot. Alexandre Breckenfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Gates Boeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in B O B I S A's zone, Alexandre Breckenfeld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gates Boeck came out of the goal and Alexandre Breckenfeld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, Alexandre Breckenfeld had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gates Boeck. B O B I S A's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandre Breckenfeld was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Gates Boeck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cido Goiano went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Gates Boeck came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by B-S-L's Carlinhos Sergipano. But to his dismay, Carlinhos Sergipano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. With a little luck, B-S-L's Nilson de Amorim got control of the ball when Edgar Domini tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 played minutes B O B I S A got a freekick which was hit by Jack Sennrich. A collision led to B-S-L getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Alexandre Breckenfeld hit a great ball. Gates Boeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Breckenfeld in the 38th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Carlinhos Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gates Boeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute Edgar Domini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. B O B I S A's Gates Boeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos Sergipano in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Domini made a kick off. Vitório Correia hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Edgar Domini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Adolfo Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Gates Boeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Nino Forcucci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The B O B I S A fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. B-S-L's Michel Velloso was substituted for Carlinhos Sergipano. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Breckenfeld got free with Gates Boeck in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gates Boeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Velloso in the 81st minute of play. In the 81st minute, B-S-L's Michel Velloso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-4. Alexandre Breckenfeld's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Gates Boeck skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nilson de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Domini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in B-S-L fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! In the 98th minute, Michel Velloso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The B-S-L fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. B-S-L walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
