The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Horacio Cefero charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horacio Cefero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Portus Ganda booed when Tabossi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Cefero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute Marc Van Kestbeek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Paul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lennert De Loose fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portus Ganda's protests and gave Lennert De Loose a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Lennert De Loose hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Paul was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Marc Van Kestbeek capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marc Van Kestbeek really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Pierre Van Leemputte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Paul having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Ernst Jansens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Omar Paul. Ernst Jansens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 33 minutes, Everardo Ixidor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tabossi and the Portus Ganda players grew even worse after the yellow card. Omar Paul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Van Kestbeek in the 38th minute of play. Omar Paul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Van Kestbeek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After 70 played minutes Tabossi got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Cefero. Hugo Gitano kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Gitano got free with Jorden Colebrandts in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ceferino Abascal during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tabossi getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ceferino Abascal hit a great ball. Jorden Colebrandts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Gitano in the 92nd minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Portus Ganda had played much better football throughout.
