Spectators: 7563 (Terracing: 5673, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when João Adolfo Fontes took the kick off in the first half of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Alejandro Tavio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilson de Amorim. B-S-L's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alejandro Tavio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Carlinhos Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Checa having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, B-S-L was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. Nilson de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Hug, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bahía é Carnaval's Hernan Checa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Adolfo Fontes in the 22nd minute of play. Alexandre Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Hernan Checa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Hug's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilson de Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. B-S-L were furious when Cido Goiano was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 32nd minute, Cido Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emilio Hug hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. B-S-L's Nilson de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Tavio in the 39th minute of play. Hernan Checa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but João Adolfo Fontes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 42 minute of play. The B-S-L players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bahía é Carnaval were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Hug made a kick off. After some careless play in the Bahía é Carnaval defense, João Adolfo Fontes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernan Checa. The Bahía é Carnaval fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernan Checa should have stopped the shot. João Adolfo Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernan Checa came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by B-S-L's João Adolfo Fontes. But to his dismay, João Adolfo Fontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. When Emilio Hug fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bahía é Carnaval's protests and gave Emilio Hug a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, Bahía é Carnaval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Hug to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the game, Alejandro Tavio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nilson de Amorim. Alejandro Tavio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. B-S-L made a substitution. Michel Velloso replaced Carlinhos Sergipano. If João Adolfo Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. B-S-L's Nilson de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Hug in the 85th minute of play. If Alejandro Tavio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in B-S-L's zone, Alejandro Tavio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson de Amorim came out of the goal and Alejandro Tavio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Bahía é Carnaval's Emilio Hug ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nilson de Amorim. Nilson de Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. The Bahía é Carnaval players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
