The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gates Boeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Hug, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Sergio Sadurni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bahía é Carnaval's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave B O B I S A the free kick. 20 minutes into the game, Bahía é Carnaval's Emilio Hug nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gates Boeck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Baldomero Iraitz kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Gregor Dubler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Hernan Checa made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Bahía é Carnaval's Diego Markel got a free kick in the 27th minute. Gates Boeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Hug, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gates Boeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Hug in the 36th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregor Dubler in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Checa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Bahía é Carnaval's Sergio Sadurni got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The supporters of B O B I S A booed when Bahía é Carnaval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Sadurni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Checa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gregor Dubler's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gregor Dubler made a kick off. Gates Boeck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejandro Tavio went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Baldomero Iraitz got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Bahía é Carnaval getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Baldomero Iraitz hit a great ball. 69 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when B O B I S A's Gregor Dubler fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Alejandro Tavio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gates Boeck having to interfere. In the 75thth minute of the game Gregor Dubler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bahía é Carnaval's Hernan Checa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hernan Checa came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by B O B I S A's Gregor Dubler. But to his dismay, Gregor Dubler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.
