An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Sanchez in the 15th minute of play forced WAU team's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes of play, WAU team's Pedro Luiz Donato made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erauso Septiem was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute, Timoteo Tornamira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. WAU team's Luís Eduardo Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Sanchez in the 26th minute of play. Osvaldo Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Teofilo Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Júnior Vidal came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the WAU team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júnior Vidal couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Hermelando Berraondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rayland FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermelando Berraondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Eduardo Pontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Sanchez in the 44th minute of play forced WAU team's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Luiz Donato took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erauso Septiem. Erauso Septiem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Rayland FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. WAU team were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Luiz Donato to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedro Luiz Donato received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erauso Septiem came out and tried to block the shot, but Pedro Luiz Donato slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 66th minute. Luís Eduardo Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Sanchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amauri Rosa's late challenge caught a Rayland FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amauri Rosa helped the player get up and apologised. Amauri Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, WAU team's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Sanchez came free, but Luís Eduardo Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes of play WAU team's Amauri Rosa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Rayland FC booed when WAU team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amauri Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilo Sanchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luiz Donato in the 87th minute of play forced Rayland FC's goalkeeper Erauso Septiem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th match minute, Rayland FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nahia Alfonso to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, WAU team's goal looked a bit too open when Ray Peña came free, but Luís Eduardo Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
