Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Luiz Donato started the match with the kick off. Pedro Luiz Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Iven having to interfere. When Winksele 2016's Jorre Sproten in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye WAU team's goalie prevented a goal. Lucas Iven stood somewhat misplaced when Pedro Luiz Donato came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 7 minute. In the 9th minute, Flávio Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute of the game, Júnior Vidal landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. WAU team's Osvaldo Linhares was substituted for Júnior Vidal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Winksele 2016:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of WAU team:s goal. In the 21st minute there was a penalty for WAU team. Pedro Luiz Donato stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lucas Iven. 2-0. In the 24th minute Jorre Sproten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Winksele 2016's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ryan Bruyninckx in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, WAU team's Pedrão Recife got a free kick in the 27th minute. Winksele 2016's Ryan Bruyninckx got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luís Paulo Bueno's late challenge caught a Winksele 2016's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Paulo Bueno helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes WAU team got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo Bueno. Ludwig Van de Loock kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Luís Paulo Bueno hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. A collision led to Winksele 2016 getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Binjamin Stuycken hit a great ball. Lucas Iven stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Luiz Donato's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Lennart De Coster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Jorre Sproten made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Winksele 2016 got a freekick which was hit by Leon Leenders. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Linhares in the 57th minute of play forced Winksele 2016's goalkeeper Lucas Iven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Karel-Jan Gheysen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Pedro Luiz Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot. WAU team's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Luiz Donato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Iven breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorre Sproten in the 72nd minute of play forced WAU team's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when Abel Lingier put in a rough tackle. In the 75th minute, Abel Lingier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Luiz Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Pedro Luiz Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Luiz Donato in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Iven saved Winksele 2016 from getting behind. Lucas Iven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio Salgado in the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to WAU team getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Flávio Dante hit a great ball. Luís Eduardo Pontes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karel-Jan Gheysen in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. WAU team had won after a very even match.
