Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Fausto Errando made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Fausto Errando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FalconsB FCB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Errando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Astillero del Guayas's Corozo Nevares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Astillero del Guayas from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xantalen Sella during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Astillero del Guayas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! A sloppy throw-in by Simon Dabi in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Astillero del Guayas's Alfonso Guazo. After 15 played minutes Astillero del Guayas got a freekick which was hit by Xantalen Sella. In the 18th minute, Fausto Errando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the FalconsB FCB defense, Victoriano Fortuño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hilario Petrigai. The FalconsB FCB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hilario Petrigai should have stopped the shot. Fausto Errando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Corozo Nevares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Llope in the 29th minute of play forced Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Corozo Nevares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Petrigai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Gayo in the 31st minute of play. Alfonso Guazo charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso Guazo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfonso Guazo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Llope in the 39th minute of play forced Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Corozo Nevares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Guazo in the 44th minute of play forced FalconsB FCB's goalkeeper Hilario Petrigai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Thanks to some nice moves Omar Gayo could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Hilario Petrigai however easily saved by the left post. Corozo Nevares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Hilario Petrigai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Fortuño in the 58th minute of play. When Ruben Llope came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the FalconsB FCB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Llope couldn't finish the play. Hilario Petrigai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zarbonin Aenlle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, FalconsB FCB's goalkeeper Hilario Petrigai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Gayo. After a rather tough play, FalconsB FCB's Hugo Garaona got a free kick in the 86th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Omar Gayo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hilario Petrigai. FalconsB FCB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Gayo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. FalconsB FCB's Hilario Petrigai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Fortuño in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Astillero del Guayas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
