Lucas Iven was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luís Fernando Melo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. In the 17th minute, João Francisco de Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Lingier in the 18th minute of play forced Reac Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Hortêncio Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Reac Futebol Clube booed when Winksele 2016 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Marichal didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Fernando Melo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Reac Futebol Clube's Amílton Mandrak got a free kick in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Jorre Sproten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Winksele 2016's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reac Futebol Clube the free kick. The supporters of Reac Futebol Clube booed when Winksele 2016 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorre Sproten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Iven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílton Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the game, Luís Gustavo de Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Lucas Iven was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luís Fernando Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas Iven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fernando Melo in the 95th minute of play.
