After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Hermelando Berraondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rayland FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermelando Berraondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hortêncio Madureira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hermelando Berraondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timoteo Tornamira during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erauso Septiem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Gustavo de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Gerson Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermelando Berraondo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hortêncio Madureira firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Reac Futebol Clube booed when Rayland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Sanchez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 played minutes Rayland FC got a freekick which was hit by Ray Peña. After a rather tough play, Rayland FC's Nahia Alfonso got a free kick in the 31st minute. The supporters of Reac Futebol Clube booed when Rayland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Tornamira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erauso Septiem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fernando Melo's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Luís Gustavo de Souza struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Erauso Septiem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reac Futebol Clube. Luís Gustavo de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Erauso Septiem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Reac Futebol Clube's Baltazar de Salles was substituted for Nelsinho Velasco. The wind increased when Teofilo Sanchez made the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Pirani's late challenge caught a Rayland FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Pirani helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Rodrigo Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermelando Berraondo in the 59th minute of play forced Reac Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Hortêncio Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rayland FC's Marcones Guztros was substituted for Teofilo Sanchez. In the 71st minute, Ray Peña sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Reac Futebol Clube's Hortêncio Madureira didn't even have to move. In the 77th minute Marcones Guztros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes Reac Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ray Peña who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Ray Peña got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hortêncio Madureira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hortêncio Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcones Guztros in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Reac Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Hermelando Berraondo came free, but Hortêncio Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Luís Fernando Melo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erauso Septiem. Rayland FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Fernando Melo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 90th minute, Hermelando Berraondo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rayland FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 94 minutes into the match, Reac Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Marcones Guztros came free, but Hortêncio Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Reac Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Hortêncio Madureira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rayland FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
