Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Rayland FC's Ray Peña started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gaston Raireta made in the 4th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Hermelando Berraondo. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Gabriel Giral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carpasús FC - FDC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Giral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erauso Septiem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nahia Alfonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Täpäl Arco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frisco Villegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garci Gorria hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Ray Peña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xzaiver Balaguer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Erauso Septiem made a huge save. The supporters of Carpasús FC - FDC booed when Rayland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nahia Alfonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Täpäl Arco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ray Peña in the 25th minute of play. Erauso Septiem came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Carpasús FC - FDC's Gabriel Giral. But to his dismay, Gabriel Giral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Rayland FC's Ray Peña got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gabriel Giral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erauso Septiem having to interfere. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Xzaiver Balaguer sped through Rayland FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erauso Septiem. After a rather tough play, Carpasús FC - FDC's Garci Gorria got a free kick in the 45th minute. The audience was convinced that Ray Peña's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Täpäl Arco was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xzaiver Balaguer was the one to do the kick off. Erauso Septiem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Goren Mexia in the 51st minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Silviano Manzardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carpasús FC - FDC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rayland FC the free kick. After 59 played minutes Carpasús FC - FDC got a freekick which was hit by Silviano Manzardo. Täpäl Arco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frisco Villegas in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Carpasús FC - FDC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Goren Mexia hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xzaiver Balaguer in the 68th minute of play forced Rayland FC's goalkeeper Erauso Septiem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Carpasús FC - FDC's Täpäl Arco got control of the ball when Ray Peña tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ray Peña had several of the Carpasús FC - FDC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Täpäl Arco as he didn't even see the shot coming. Frisco Villegas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnaldo Ozores's late challenge caught a Rayland FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo Ozores helped the player get up and apologised. Täpäl Arco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frisco Villegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Frisco Villegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Täpäl Arco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bortzaioriz Brasa kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Rayland FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
