A collision led to Rayland FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Beltxe Gainza hit a great ball. Luís Eduardo Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frisco Villegas in the 5th minute of play. Luís Eduardo Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frisco Villegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After 11 played minutes Rayland FC got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Tornamira. Luís Eduardo Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ray Peña in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Gilson Munhoz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. WAU team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rayland FC the free kick. In the 17th match minute, WAU team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilson Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frisco Villegas in the 21st minute of play forced WAU team's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Ray Peña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Erauso Septiem successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pedro Luiz Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Erauso Septiem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Rayland FC's Erauso Septiem got control of the ball when Flávio Dante tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nahia Alfonso kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Erauso Septiem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luiz Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Ray Peña had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Eduardo Pontes. WAU team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ray Peña was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Erauso Septiem was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Pedro Luiz Donato capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pedro Luiz Donato really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1.
The wind increased when Flávio Dante made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Giuseppe Marquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. WAU team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rayland FC the free kick. The supporters of Rayland FC booed when WAU team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rayland FC's Gaston Raireta shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 55th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Luís Eduardo Pontes but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, WAU team's Júnior Vidal got a free kick in the 60th minute. Júnior Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erauso Septiem having to interfere. Luís Eduardo Pontes made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Ray Peña sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the game, one of WAU team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of Rayland FC booed when WAU team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flávio Dante didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, WAU team's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Pontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermelando Berraondo. 79 minutes into the match, Rayland FC's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Vidal came free, but Erauso Septiem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 played minutes WAU team got a freekick which was hit by Flávio Dante. Flávio Dante struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Erauso Septiem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WAU team. 84 minutes into the game, Nahia Alfonso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rayland FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave WAU team the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rayland FC's Nahia Alfonso got a free kick in the 84th minute. After some careless play in the Rayland FC defense, Flávio Dante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erauso Septiem. The Rayland FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erauso Septiem should have stopped the shot. If Flávio Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Flávio Dante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WAU team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. The WAU team players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
