Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tudor Pintilescu started the match with the kick off. Dorel Bunescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panagiotis Kolleris, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After 3 played minutes LIVERPOOL FC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Buteanu. In the 7th minute, Martin Buteanu made a precise shot to the right of Fanis Vourexakis. Trifillia.FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Panagiotis Kolleris during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Panagiotis Kolleris kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Fanis Vourexakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horea Mititelu, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The supporters of LIVERPOOL FC booed when Trifillia.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giotis Sartzetakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tudor Pintilescu, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Pintilescu came free, but Fanis Vourexakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fanis Vourexakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horea Mititelu in the 17th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Trifillia.FC's Theocharis Lekanis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dorel Bunescu. That made the score 2-1 after 29 minutes of play. Fanis Vourexakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Papaiani in the 32nd minute of play. Fanis Vourexakis came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by LIVERPOOL FC's Remus Papaiani. But to his dismay, Remus Papaiani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 42nd minute, Lambis Pavlatos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Trifillia.FC's zone, Tudor Pintilescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fanis Vourexakis came out of the goal and Tudor Pintilescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Pintilescu in the 45th minute of play forced Trifillia.FC's goalkeeper Fanis Vourexakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fanis Vourexakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionel Arghirescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Konstantinos Kapareliotis was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Theocharis Lekanis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trifillia.FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Theocharis Lekanis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorel Bunescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trifillia.FC's Fanis Vourexakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Trifillia.FC from getting a goal against them. Horea Mititelu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fanis Vourexakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Trifillia.FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theocharis Lekanis to maneuver through the defense. Trifillia.FC's Panagiotis Kolleris got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered Panagiotis Kolleris off the ground. The supporters of LIVERPOOL FC booed when Trifillia.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panagiotis Kolleris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Fanis Vourexakis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to LIVERPOOL FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Mugur Martinaș hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Trifillia.FC's Thanos Raditsas got a free kick in the 89th minute. Dorel Bunescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantinos Kapareliotis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fanis Vourexakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Martinaș in the 98th minute of play. The LIVERPOOL FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LIVERPOOL FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
