Spectators: 7523 (Terracing: 5643, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Curtis Mckinnes made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Kyle Deal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frenchville Sports Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Edward Magrath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson Salles in the 8th minute of play. Gildo de Alcântara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Curtis Mckinnes in the 11th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Inter de Melão's goalkeeper Gildo de Alcântara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Curtis Mckinnes. Gildo de Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Curtis Mckinnes sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th play minute Henry Laing came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gildo de Alcântara. 3-0. With a little luck, Inter de Melão's Gildo de Alcântara got control of the ball when Kyle Deal tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Inter de Melão's goalkeeper Gildo de Alcântara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Curtis Mckinnes. Inter de Melão's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Curtis Mckinnes scored to the left of an out of position Gildo de Alcântara, making the score, 4-0. Curtis Mckinnes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Gildo de Alcântara made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sydney Loureiro made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Frenchville Sports Club's goalkeeper Edward Magrath had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Davi Borges. Gildo de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curtis Mckinnes in the 57th minute of the match. Edward Magrath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Loureiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Gildo de Alcântara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Curtis Mckinnes went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 73 minutes into the match, Frenchville Sports Club's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Loureiro came free, but Edward Magrath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdo Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Sydney Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Magrath saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Edson Salles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Edward Magrath was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Davi Borges hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Laing in the 93rd minute of play forced Inter de Melão's goalkeeper Gildo de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Inter de Melão's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Evan Millar was slow to take the kick. During this time Frenchville Sports Club's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Evan Millar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gildo de Alcântara quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Frenchville Sports Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Inter de Melão for a fine match.
