The Frenchville Sports Club fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Frenchville Sports Club's Curtis Mckinnes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kyle Deal scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gildo de Alcântara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Curtis Mckinnes in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gildo de Alcântara saved Inter de Melão from getting behind. Inter de Melão's Gildo de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pearce Hickman in the 18th minute of play. Valdo Ribeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edward Magrath. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdo Ribeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Gildo de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curtis Mckinnes, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After some careless play in the Inter de Melão defense, Kyle Deal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gildo de Alcântara. The Inter de Melão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gildo de Alcântara should have stopped the shot. Davi Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Gildo de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curtis Mckinnes in the 28th minute of the match. Kyle Deal scored 0-4 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gildo de Alcântara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes into the game, Sydney Loureiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inter de Melão's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frenchville Sports Club the free kick. After a rather tough play, Inter de Melão's Sydney Loureiro got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the game, Frenchville Sports Club's Curtis Mckinnes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gildo de Alcântara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Gildo de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Deal in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Inter de Melão's goal looked a bit too open when Curtis Mckinnes came free, but Gildo de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Sydney Loureiro notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Frenchville Sports Club's Edward Magrath. Edward Magrath was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edward Magrath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Loureiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Curtis Mckinnes made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Inter de Melão's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Deal came free, but Gildo de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Nóbrega in the 54th minute of play forced Frenchville Sports Club's goalkeeper Edward Magrath to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inter de Melão's Gildo de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Deal in the 55th minute of play. Sydney Loureiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Inter de Melão's Gildo de Alcântara got control of the ball when Henry Laing tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gildo de Alcântara was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Frenchville Sports Club getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Todd Cuddihy hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Curtis Mckinnes got free with Gildo de Alcântara in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gildo de Alcântara was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Henry Laing capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Henry Laing really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. After a rather tough play, Frenchville Sports Club's Buchanan Cuddihy got a free kick in the 94th minute.
