Auktsjaur IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horea Mititelu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Auktsjaur IF's Sebastian Forssell quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mihai Georgescu, made in the 10th minute of the game. Sture Ödmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horea Mititelu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Tudor Pintilescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sture Ödmann. Auktsjaur IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tudor Pintilescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sture Ödmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Buteanu in the 21st minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Johnny Albohm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Auktsjaur IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LIVERPOOL FC the free kick. The supporters of LIVERPOOL FC booed when Auktsjaur IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnny Albohm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sture Ödmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remus Papaiani went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Sture Ödmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horea Mititelu, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Tudor Pintilescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Ödmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sture Ödmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Papaiani in the 31st minute of the match. Sture Ödmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Papaiani in the 32nd minute of play. Auktsjaur IF's attentive Sebastian Forssell managed to snatch the ball when Mihai Georgescu made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. In the 36th match minute, Auktsjaur IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Gustafsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Auktsjaur IF's Wiktor Haglund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dorel Bunescu. Dorel Bunescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. A collision led to LIVERPOOL FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Vintilă Gherase hit a great ball. The supporters of Auktsjaur IF booed when LIVERPOOL FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vali Puric didn't get a good kick on the ball.

LIVERPOOL FC's Mugur Martinaș was substituted for Remus Papaiani. Sture Ödmann came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by LIVERPOOL FC's Horea Mititelu. But to his dismay, Horea Mititelu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Albohm in the 58th minute of play forced LIVERPOOL FC's goalkeeper Dorel Bunescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wiktor Haglund kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Dorel Bunescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Gustafsson in the 60th minute of play. Mugur Martinaș could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Sture Ödmann made a huge save. Leif Åhman hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Sture Ödmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Martinaș, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Martinaș in the 68th minute of play forced Auktsjaur IF's goalkeeper Sture Ödmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvald Bock struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Dorel Bunescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Auktsjaur IF. Dorel Bunescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvald Bock, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Auktsjaur IF's Wiktor Haglund seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Wiktor Haglund the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Auktsjaur IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Wiktor Haglund had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Wiktor Haglund kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Horea Mititelu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Ödmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Mugur Martinaș made a precise shot to the right of Sture Ödmann. Auktsjaur IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Osvald Bock's late challenge caught a LIVERPOOL FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvald Bock helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Osvald Bock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristoffer Pihl in the 87th minute of play forced LIVERPOOL FC's goalkeeper Dorel Bunescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to LIVERPOOL FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Martin Buteanu hit a great ball. Horea Mititelu kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The Auktsjaur IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LIVERPOOL FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
