Spectators: 7620 (Terracing: 5716, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 152) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Boruc Majdoch took the kick off in the first half of the match. A nice corner shot did that Remigiusz Sobania got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nic Hollandts quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 17th minute, Rafał Wern ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nic Hollandts was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Lions United's Nic Hollandts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boruc Majdoch in the 20th minute of play. Boruc Majdoch charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boruc Majdoch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Radomil Zbikowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Calstermans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes Lions United got a freekick which was hit by Guy Cox. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigiusz Sobania in the 28th minute of play forced Lions United's goalkeeper Nic Hollandts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Lions United's goalkeeper Nic Hollandts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefan Adamczak. After 34 minutes of play, Mauro's Boruc Majdoch made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nic Hollandts was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute Constantijn Elsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomil Zbikowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes Lions United got a freekick which was hit by Basiel Caspers. Boruc Majdoch got his second yellow card in the match during the 43rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 44th match minute, Mauro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boruc Majdoch to maneuver through the defense. Radomil Zbikowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Calstermans in the 46th minute of play. Radomil Zbikowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantijn Elsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Constantijn Elsen to make the kick off. Constantijn Elsen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Radomil Zbikowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Constantijn Elsen slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Rens Panhuyse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Constantijn Elsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Radomil Zbikowski made a huge save. 60 minutes into the match, Mauro's goalkeeper Radomil Zbikowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiel Ackermans. 65 minutes into the match, Rafał Wern notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Lions United's Nic Hollandts. Nic Hollandts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Georges-Philippe Cempenaers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Nils Verhaghen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mauro's Radomil Zbikowski didn't even have to move. After 77 minutes of play, Mauro's Rafał Wern made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nic Hollandts was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 81 played minutes Mauro got a freekick which was hit by Remigiusz Sobania. In the 96th minute Rafał Wern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nic Hollandts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
