The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. GARIBALDI FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deivid Vinhas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. If Deivid Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruy Loureiro was a little too slow when Gaby Gol got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 2-3. In the 46th minute, Ramiro Jaunti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Tadeu Correia sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and GARIBALDI FC's Zacarias Arnalt didn't even have to move. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Deivid Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Israel Indar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruy Loureiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. If Deivid Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute of the match, Tadeu Correia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zacarias Arnalt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 82 played minutes GARIBALDI FC got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Gauargi. Tadeu Correia struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Zacarias Arnalt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montevideo. In the 84th minute, Ramiro Jaunti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in GARIBALDI FC's zone, Deivid Vinhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Arnalt came out of the goal and Deivid Vinhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Gaby Gol made a precise shot to the right of Ruy Loureiro. Montevideo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. 91 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Gaby Gol came free, but Ruy Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deivid Vinhas's late challenge caught a GARIBALDI FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Deivid Vinhas helped the player get up and apologised. Deivid Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th minute of the match GARIBALDI FC got a corner. Montevideo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaby Gol ran over to the corner to take the kick. GARIBALDI FC's Gaby Gol was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ruy Loureiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Montevideo's Ruy Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaby Gol in the 96th minute of play.
