Baiardo Combarros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamim Saraiva in the 23rd minute of the match. Caaguazu's Baiardo Combarros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Nascimento in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the Caaguazu defense, Chico Carneiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baiardo Combarros. After 70 minutes of play, Caaguazu's Otsando Oterino made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vitinho Bastos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Flamengo FSCMZ's Wágner Vergílio got a free kick in the 74th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Chico Carneiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Baiardo Combarros. That made the score 2-5 in the 99 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Flamengo FSCMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
