Spectators: 7659 (Terracing: 5746, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Constantijn Elsen started the match with the kick off. Izak Capellemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantijn Elsen in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Arnalt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zacarias Arnalt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guy Cox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GARIBALDI FC's Zacarias Arnalt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Calstermans in the 18th minute of play. Izak Capellemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Tohias, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. GARIBALDI FC's Zacarias Arnalt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Calstermans in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lions United's Rens Panhuyse got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Israel Indar's late challenge caught a Lions United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Israel Indar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lions United booed when GARIBALDI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Indar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zacarias Arnalt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantijn Elsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guy Cox in the 37th minute of play forced GARIBALDI FC's goalkeeper Zacarias Arnalt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacarias Arnalt came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Lions United's Guy Cox. But to his dismay, Guy Cox quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Izak Capellemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Indar in the 41st minute of play. Izak Capellemans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvano Txerran went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaby Gol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Dimitri Van Den Broek made a precise shot to the right of Zacarias Arnalt. GARIBALDI FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 60th minute, Matias Calstermans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarias Arnalt was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 64 minutes into the match, Matias Calstermans notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of GARIBALDI FC's Zacarias Arnalt. Zacarias Arnalt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 69 minutes into the match, GARIBALDI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Constantijn Elsen came free, but Zacarias Arnalt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Matias Calstermans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lions United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Zacarias Arnalt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guy Cox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zacarias Arnalt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitri Van Den Broek in the 74th minute of play. Israel Indar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Izak Capellemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Lions United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernand Spailer to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 86 in the game by Gaby Gol from a close distance when the talented Izak Capellemans managed to make a qualified save. Lions United's players were relieved. In the 92nd minute Guy Cox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Arnalt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th match minute, Lions United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantijn Elsen to maneuver through the defense. GARIBALDI FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Lions United had won, even though GARIBALDI FC had held more of the ball.
