The audience was convinced that Deivid Vinhas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luhut Garnita was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 21st minute, Sandy Raturandang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kranji Crunchy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Bruninho Trigo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Nickolous Haeruddin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ruy Loureiro. That made the score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. With a little luck, Montevideo's Ruy Loureiro got control of the ball when Sandy Raturandang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Montevideo's Ruy Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anwar Siahaan in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Carlos Tróia to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Kranji Crunchy's Sandy Raturandang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ruy Loureiro. Ruy Loureiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Montevideo's Ruy Loureiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Montevideo from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Deivid Vinhas made a kick off. Ruy Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anwar Siahaan in the 51st minute of the match. After 54 minutes, Doyok Sinurat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kranji Crunchy and the Montevideo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luhut Garnita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeu Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deivid Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luhut Garnita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montevideo. 63 minutes into the game, Bruninho Trigo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Luhut Garnita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 80th minute, Sandy Raturandang made a precise shot to the right of Ruy Loureiro. Montevideo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1.
