Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Quinito Folch started the match with the kick off. Teofilo Area charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teofilo Area the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 2 played minutes Montevideo City Torque got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Area. Montevideo's Tadeu Correia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Montevideo City Torque. Zenaido Urtiaran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Vinhas in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Montevideo's Tadeu Correia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zenaido Urtiaran. Zenaido Urtiaran yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Montevideo City Torque's Angel Cadaval quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Delfim Peixoto, made in the 10th minute of the game. Guilllermo Llamosas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Loureiro having to interfere. Zenaido Urtiaran was a little too slow when Tadeu Correia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. Zenaido Urtiaran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Moraes in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Montevideo City Torque's Jerold Santalla got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Montevideo's Zé Carlos Tróia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 29 minutes into the match, Zé Carlos Tróia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zenaido Urtiaran, 4-0. Zenaido Urtiaran was a little too slow when Tadeu Correia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 5-0. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Deivid Vinhas took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Zenaido Urtiaran to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Montevideo City Torque's Zenaido Urtiaran got control of the ball when Deivid Vinhas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruy Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quinito Folch in the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Deivid Vinhas to make the kick off. With 55 minutes on the clock, Angel Cadaval commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 58 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid Vinhas came free, but Zenaido Urtiaran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Henrique Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenaido Urtiaran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 minutes of play, Montevideo's Tadeu Correia made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zenaido Urtiaran was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zenaido Urtiaran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Correia in the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid Vinhas came free, but Zenaido Urtiaran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Montevideo's Deivid Vinhas in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montevideo City Torque's goalie prevented a goal. In the 76th match minute, Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Moraes to maneuver through the defense. Montevideo City Torque's Zenaido Urtiaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Correia in the 80th minute of play. Teofilo Area kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Zenaido Urtiaran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Vinhas in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Moraes in the 82nd minute of play forced Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Zenaido Urtiaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zenaido Urtiaran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Vinhas in the 84th minute of the match. After 87 minutes, Gonzales Alfeiran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montevideo City Torque and the Montevideo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute Tadeu Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenaido Urtiaran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Montevideo fully deserved thier win.
