Vitinho Bastos was a little too slow when Constantijn Elsen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 15 played minutes Flamengo FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Benjamim Saraiva. 17 minutes into the match, Lions United's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Carneiro came free, but Izak Capellemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Vitinho Bastos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Constantijn Elsen. 28 minutes into the match, Dimitri Van Den Broek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vitinho Bastos. Flamengo FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitri Van Den Broek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 35 minutes into the match, Lions United's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Carneiro came free, but Izak Capellemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Calstermans in the 40th minute of play forced Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Vitinho Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Flamengo FSCMZ's zone, Constantijn Elsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitinho Bastos came out of the goal and Constantijn Elsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lions United's Izak Capellemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamim Saraiva in the 44th minute of play. Eriberto Schmidt charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eriberto Schmidt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

Izak Capellemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Izak Capellemans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamim Saraiva in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitri Van Den Broek came free, but Vitinho Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Izak Capellemans having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Constantijn Elsen came free, but Vitinho Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lions United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Flamengo FSCMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
