The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Kranji Crunchy's Heru Utomo in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 12th minute, Celso Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vitinho Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nickolous Haeruddin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th match minute, Flamengo FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. Vitinho Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Welly Renata in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bambang Kartolo during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bambang Kartolo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Flamengo FSCMZ's Vitinho Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandy Raturandang in the 26th minute of play. Celso Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celso Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Celso Nascimento hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 29 played minutes Flamengo FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Wágner Vergílio. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Welly Renata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kranji Crunchy's supporters rose to their feet, but Welly Renata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitinho Bastos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Kamarudin Pangalila fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kranji Crunchy's protests and gave Kamarudin Pangalila a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Kamarudin Pangalila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lelo Rosada was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Celso Nascimento. 43 minutes into the match, Kamarudin Pangalila notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Flamengo FSCMZ's Vitinho Bastos. Vitinho Bastos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 47 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Sandy Raturandang came free, but Vitinho Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Celso Nascimento made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamim Saraiva during the 51st minute. If Celso Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st minute, Wágner Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute of the match, Heru Utomo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vitinho Bastos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Chico Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lelo Rosada having to interfere.
