Remigiusz Sobania went to the cornerflag to take it. If Bogumil Zieba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Flamengo FSCMZ defense, Bogumil Zieba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vitinho Bastos. The Flamengo FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vitinho Bastos should have stopped the shot. Vitinho Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boruc Majdoch, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 25th minute, Bogumil Zieba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mauro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 30 minutes into the match, Mauro's goalkeeper Radomil Zbikowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franklin das Neves. Radomil Zbikowski made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Celso Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. Flamengo FSCMZ's Charles de Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Radomil Zbikowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Stefan Adamczak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Vitinho Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Mauro got a freekick which was hit by Boruc Majdoch. In the 64th minute, Celso Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radomil Zbikowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After a rather tough play, Mauro's Herbert Zabrzeski got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When Celso Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Flamengo FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Nascimento couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Mauro's Zachary Pochorylo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Boruc Majdoch's late challenge caught a Flamengo FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boruc Majdoch helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Flamengo FSCMZ booed when Mauro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boruc Majdoch didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute Chico Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomil Zbikowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogumil Zieba charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bogumil Zieba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th match minute, Mauro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogumil Zieba to maneuver through the defense. After 90 played minutes, Flamengo FSCMZ's Eusébio Andrade shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Radomil Zbikowski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Flamengo FSCMZ reached it. Although Flamengo FSCMZ had been in control for most of the match, Mauro still came away with the win.
