Spectators: 7651 (Terracing: 5740, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Harrie Diependaele started the match with the kick off. Izak Capellemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chico Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Calstermans came free, but Vitinho Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Flamengo FSCMZ defense, Harrie Diependaele kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vitinho Bastos. The Flamengo FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vitinho Bastos should have stopped the shot. Vitinho Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basiel Caspers in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Harrie Diependaele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitinho Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Diedrik De Lauw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flamengo FSCMZ's Celso Nascimento shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Izak Capellemans but with some difficulty. Flamengo FSCMZ's Vitinho Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basiel Caspers in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wágner Vergílio got free with Izak Capellemans in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Izak Capellemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chico Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Harrie Diependaele took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vitinho Bastos. Vitinho Bastos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 36th minute, Flamengo FSCMZ's Celso Nascimento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Izak Capellemans. Izak Capellemans yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Benjamim Saraiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Izak Capellemans made a huge save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celso Nascimento made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Lions United's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamim Saraiva came free, but Izak Capellemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vitinho Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacky Valkeneers in the 63rd minute of play. Izak Capellemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wágner Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Vitinho Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harrie Diependaele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitinho Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacky Valkeneers in the 78th minute of the match. Vitinho Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harrie Diependaele, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Vitinho Bastos made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Harrie Diependaele sent off a good shot on target. Wágner Vergílio took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Izak Capellemans. Izak Capellemans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3.
