Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Waldir Souza started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Maurino Estades hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Roberto Veloso was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 5th minute, Crescencio Mendiguren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hector Uranga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrício Godoi in the 6th minute. Fabinho Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ponce Perero in the 9th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ponce Perero came free, but Fabinho Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabinho Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ponce Perero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Ponce Perero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabinho Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antônio Carlos Mazza hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Fabinho Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ponce Perero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ponce Perero succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. After having played for 32 minutes, Ponce Perero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leones FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ponce Perero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabinho Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ponce Perero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ponce Perero in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabinho Arruda saved Tarrasque Voador F.C. from getting behind. In the 41stth minute of the game Ponce Perero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Fabinho Arruda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ponce Perero in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabinho Arruda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Simon Maseda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Leones FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the game, Ponce Perero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fabinho Arruda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicollao Ovies sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Uranga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 played minutes Tarrasque Voador F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Waldir Souza. Guillelmus Tendiero's late challenge caught a Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillelmus Tendiero helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tarrasque Voador F.C. booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillelmus Tendiero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xabel Oquerruri charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xabel Oquerruri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xabel Oquerruri hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Ponce Perero made a precise shot to the right of Fabinho Arruda. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The supporters of Tarrasque Voador F.C. booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurino Estades didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector Uranga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Souza in the 78th minute of the match. Ponce Perero took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabinho Arruda. Fabinho Arruda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 85 minutes of play, Leones FC's Nicollao Ovies made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabinho Arruda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabinho Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ponce Perero in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Edmundo Freire got a free kick in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s zone, Nicollao Ovies stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabinho Arruda came out of the goal and Nicollao Ovies tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leones FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
