That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. 13 minutes into the game, Waldir Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Nildo Veloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Walmyr Proença succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. In the 19th minute, Marcelinho Azevedo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabinho Arruda. The goal made the score 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Souza in the 29th minute of play forced Reko-Recko 03™'s goalkeeper Nildo Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Reko-Recko 03™'s goal looked a bit too open when Waldir Souza came free, but Nildo Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Jardel Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 minutes, Cleiton Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reko-Recko 03™ and the Tarrasque Voador F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cleiton Valle hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute Magno Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nildo Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walmyr Proença was the one to do the kick off. Nildo Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reko-Recko 03™'s Nildo Veloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Reko-Recko 03™ from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Nildo Veloso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nildo Veloso made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Luís Fábio Cerezo sent off a good shot on target. Carlinhos Travassos hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute of the match, Fabrício Godoi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nildo Veloso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nildo Veloso was a little too slow when Fabrício Godoi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 3-2. In the 83rd minute Walmyr Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabinho Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nildo Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Souza in the 86th minute of play. Reko-Recko 03™ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
