Spectators: 7498 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leopoldo Gurutz started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Mário Festas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 3rd minute Abel Natanael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Amaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute of the match RÚSTICOS F.C got a corner. Atlético Micaelense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bernardino Baumer ran over to the corner to take the kick. 10 minutes into the game, RÚSTICOS F.C's Leopoldo Gurutz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Amaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of Atlético Micaelense booed when RÚSTICOS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Baumer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Amaro was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Leopoldo Gurutz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leopoldo Gurutz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Arsenio Quexal came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Micaelense's Cláudio Madureira. But to his dismay, Cláudio Madureira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Leopoldo Gurutz kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes RÚSTICOS F.C got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Ur. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Gurutz in the 30th minute of play forced Atlético Micaelense's goalkeeper Marcelo Amaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Micaelense's goalkeeper Marcelo Amaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Atlético Micaelense booed when RÚSTICOS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Baumer didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardino Baumer got free with Marcelo Amaro in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelo Amaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Natanael, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Marcelo Amaro made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Bernardino Baumer sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maurício Neves made a kick off. After a rather tough play, RÚSTICOS F.C's Bonifacio Ur got a free kick in the 54th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Atlético Micaelense's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Natanael came free, but Marcelo Amaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Gurutz notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Atlético Micaelense's Marcelo Amaro. Marcelo Amaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leopoldo Gurutz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Atlético Micaelense booed when RÚSTICOS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Ur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlético Micaelense's Vicente Sanches shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 75th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arsenio Quexal but with some difficulty. Cláudio Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Bonifacio Ur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the game, RÚSTICOS F.C's Leopoldo Gurutz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Amaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Natanael in the 86th minute of play forced Atlético Micaelense's goalkeeper Marcelo Amaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RÚSTICOS F.C's Leopoldo Gurutz got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Wilson Lobato fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Micaelense's protests and gave Wilson Lobato a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes Atlético Micaelense got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Lobato. When Leopoldo Gurutz got free in front of the goal in the 96th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Marcelo Amaro was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the RÚSTICOS F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
