Maurício Neves started the match with the kick off. When Konrad Dziechciowski came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konrad Dziechciowski couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Atlético Micaelense's Isac Carmo got a free kick in the 11th minute. The Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Lech Rzentkowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Atlético Micaelense's Marcelo Amaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Dziechciowski in the 20th minute of play. Lukasz Chazen hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Lech Rzentkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Amaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Sylwester Poling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Neves in the 26th minute of play. Lucjan Patora took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Amaro. Marcelo Amaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 37 played minutes Atlético Micaelense got a freekick which was hit by Isac Carmo. Maurício Neves hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. A collision led to Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Konrad Dziechciowski hit a great ball. Sylwester Poling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Moutinho in the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Lech Rzentkowski made the kick off in the second half. If Stanislaw Lanczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lukasz Chazen kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin booed when Atlético Micaelense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veríssimo Carvalhal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Konrad Dziechciowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Marcelo Amaro made a huge save. Mário Festas kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Konrad Dziechciowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Amaro having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lech Rzentkowski in the 75th minute of play forced Atlético Micaelense's goalkeeper Marcelo Amaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 played minutes Atlético Micaelense got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Madureira. After 79 played minutes Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Zdzislaw Ochylski. Sylwester Poling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Wilson Lobato took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sylwester Poling. Sylwester Poling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Wilson Moutinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sylwester Poling. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilson Moutinho ran back to his position shaking his head. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
