Gino Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislaw Lanczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Sylwester Poling made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murilo Mazza in the 14th minute. A collision led to Barrenta SC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Naldo Oliveira hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Barrenta SC's Caio Quadros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sylwester Poling. That made the score 2-0 after 21 minutes of play. With a little luck, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Sylwester Poling got control of the ball when Renatinho Bertassi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Lucjan Patora nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gino Britto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Caio Quadros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sylwester Poling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Lara in the 41st minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Murilo Mazza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Caio Quadros took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sylwester Poling. Sylwester Poling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Sylwester Poling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sylwester Poling was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin booed when Barrenta SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball.
