With a little luck, S.C.PAULISTA's Celso Luz got control of the ball when Bas Ko tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute, Fernando Prado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hamdi Vecih was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 24th minute Bas Ko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hayyam Kadri in the 27th minute of play forced S.C.PAULISTA's goalkeeper Celso Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. - HULKAS -'s Güralp Keskinel got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half S.C.PAULISTA were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Bas Ko in the 52nd minute of play forced S.C.PAULISTA's goalkeeper Celso Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of - HULKAS - booed when S.C.PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bas Ko missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 57 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Celso Luz right hand side. After 65 minutes of play, - HULKAS -'s Çakabey Alan made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celso Luz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Celso Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bas Ko, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Jean Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. S.C.PAULISTA's Celso Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayyam Kadri in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, S.C.PAULISTA's Jean Borges got a free kick in the 74th minute. Celso Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çakabey Alan in the 76th minute of the match. Celso Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayhan Çiftçi in the 79th minute of play. Bayhan Çiftçi kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match.
