Gino Britto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 23 played minutes Barrenta SC got a freekick which was hit by José Maria Neves. Lautaro L.P.'s Dionisio Achondo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Barrenta SC. A collision led to Barrenta SC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Alan Teles hit a great ball. Alan Teles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Xabier Frick made a huge save. In the 29th minute Dante Puertocarrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Barrenta SC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Valdir Rosa hit a great ball. Gino Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Puertocarrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Lautaro L.P. were furious when Dionisio Achondo was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Xabier Frick had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Murilo Mazza's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Pol Botero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lautaro L.P.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Pol Botero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 50 played minutes Barrenta SC got a freekick which was hit by Caio Quadros. In the 52ndth minute of the game Ismael Armenta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barrenta SC's Gino Britto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Armenta in the 60th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Gino Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elói de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Ismael Armenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gino Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute of the match Remicio Schlegel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gino Britto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Barrenta SC's Valdir Rosa got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, Ismael Armenta made a precise shot to the right of Gino Britto. Barrenta SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Xabier Frick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Quadros in the 74th minute of play. Juan Jose Navarros short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Gino Britto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 76 minutes of play, Barrenta SC's Caio Quadros made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xabier Frick was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ismael Armentas short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Gino Britto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 87th minute, Juan Jose Navarro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Pol Botero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Lautaro L.P.'s Juan Jose Navarro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gino Britto. That made the score 3-6 after 94 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lautaro L.P. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
