In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Micaelense's goalkeeper Marcelo Amaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Mazza in the 36th minute of play forced Atlético Micaelense's goalkeeper Marcelo Amaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Amaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maurício Neves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Atlético Micaelense getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Veríssimo Carvalhal hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Maurício Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gino Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Neves in the 92nd minute of the match. Felipe Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Marcelo Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Atlético Micaelense's Vicente Sanches got a free kick in the 95th minute.
