Roque Cordarryl struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Dida Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL CERVECERO F.C.. Pindorama's Dida Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Udalaitz in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to EL CERVECERO F.C. getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Angelo James hit a great ball. Neymar Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Pelayo having to interfere. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pindorama's goalkeeper Dida Silva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Roque Cordarryl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Neymar Santos was the one to do the kick off.
