Spectators: 7545 (Terracing: 5660, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Camillo Corna started the match with the kick off. Neymar Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 8 minutes, Neymar Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pindorama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neymar Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Pindorama booed when A.S. Udinese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Di Crescenzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes A.S. Udinese got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Maranzano. In the 19th minute of the match Ettore Tammaro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dida Silva skillfully saved the ball. Camillo Corna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Pindorama defense, Camillo Corna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dida Silva. The Pindorama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dida Silva should have stopped the shot. Raúl de Brito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Donato Lucidi made a huge save. After 30 played minutes A.S. Udinese got a freekick which was hit by Enrico De Simone. Donato Lucidi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neymar Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Maranzano in the 34th minute of play forced Pindorama's goalkeeper Dida Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A.S. Udinese made a substitution. Fausto Vani replaced Camillo Corna. Fausto Vani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Silva having to interfere. A collision led to Pindorama getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Neymar Santos hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Carlo Maranzano notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Pindorama's Dida Silva. Dida Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Neymar Santos came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Pindorama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neymar Santos couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the game, Fausto Vani recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dida Silva. Fausto Vani showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. A.S. Udinese made a substitution. Biagio Balestra replaced Carlo Maranzano. Fausto Vani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Silva having to interfere. Cacá Pinheiro was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 77 played minutes Pindorama got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Pinheiro. Dida Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Vani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute Fausto Vani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Biagio Balestra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Dida Silva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A.S. Udinese's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
