The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Locura Académica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Lluterio to maneuver through the defense. Natalio Intxixu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rolando Gorbea went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Natalio Intxixu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Gorbea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natalio Intxixu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Gorbea, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolando Gorbea made a kick off. Locura Académica's Natalio Intxixu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Jon in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Nicanor Jon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Natalio Intxixu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rolando Gorbea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Natalio Intxixu made a huge save. Celso Jaume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Natalio Intxixu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natalio Intxixu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Gorbea, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Rolando Gorbeas short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Natalio Intxixu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edelmiro Stephen during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Locura Académica getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Edelmiro Stephen hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Rolando Gorbea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natalio Intxixu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Mateo Lluterio kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Natalio Intxixu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogelio Faro in the 94th minute.
