Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gerardo Rufo got the match started through his kick off. Locura Académica's Nicasio Gabirel got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Godfredo Sotero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Robak in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Daniel Niezywy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gliwicka Torcida's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Niezywy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godfredo Sotero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Gerardo Rufo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gwidon Grunwalski was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After 19 minutes Gliwicka Torcida's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlos Natal who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Carlos Natal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gliwicka Torcida's Gwidon Grunwalski did a great save. In the 21st minute, Gliwicka Torcida's Boguslaw Galaska seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Boguslaw Galaska the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gliwicka Torcida protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Boguslaw Galaska had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 21 played minutes Gliwicka Torcida got a freekick which was hit by Boguslaw Galaska. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gliwicka Torcida's goalkeeper Gwidon Grunwalski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gerardo Rufo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Gwidon Grunwalski 26 minutes into the match. Gerardo Rufo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the match, Gliwicka Torcida's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Rufo came free, but Gwidon Grunwalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Gliwicka Torcida's goalkeeper Gwidon Grunwalski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Rufo. Gwidon Grunwalski came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Locura Académica's Jonas Argider. But to his dismay, Jonas Argider quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Gwidon Grunwalski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Rufo in the 49th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernard Robak to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Gliwicka Torcida's zone, Gerardo Rufo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gwidon Grunwalski came out of the goal and Gerardo Rufo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute, Daniel Niezywy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernard Robak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bernard Robak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th match minute, Gliwicka Torcida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Pilsudski to maneuver through the defense. Locura Académica's Godfredo Sotero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Robak in the 78th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edelmiro Stephen during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Radomil Kosowski hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute of the match Carlos Natal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gwidon Grunwalski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 87th minute Gerardo Rufo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Grunwalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Locura Académica's Gerardo Rufo in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gliwicka Torcida's goalie prevented a goal. If Bernard Robak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94th minute, Nicasio Gabirel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernard Robak struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Godfredo Sotero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gliwicka Torcida. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Locura Académica had won after a very even match.
