Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rogelio Faro kicked off to start the match. Jaime Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Santiago Guillelmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Faro in the 14th minute of play forced Locura Académica's goalkeeper Santiago Guillelmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Locura Académica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Jaime Azevedo scored to the left of an out of position Santiago Guillelmo, making the score, 1-0. After 24 played minutes Club Atletico Juanita got a freekick which was hit by Matias Fe. If Jaime Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Juanita's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Gabirel came free, but Evelio Crispo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Natal was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Locura Académica getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Rene Jaizki hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Locura Académica's zone, Jaime Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Guillelmo came out of the goal and Jaime Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Damian Senon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. In the 60th minute, Damian Senon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jaime Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Locura Académica's Santiago Guillelmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Faro in the 66th minute of play. Jaime Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Guillelmo having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Locura Académica's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Faro came free, but Santiago Guillelmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nicasio Gabirel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jaime Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Club Atletico Juanita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Locura Académica's Nicasio Gabirel got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Locura Académica's Carlos Natal got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rogelio Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Santiago Guillelmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Guillelmo having to interfere. Nicasio Gabirel kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Silverio Rubio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Locura Académica's Santiago Guillelmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Rubio in the 92nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicasio Gabirel got free with Evelio Crispo in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee ended the match the Club Atletico Juanita players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
