Tallboda Gunners's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Tord Kiempe scored to the left of an out of position Viggo Martinsson, making the score, 1-0. With a little luck, Tallboda Gunners's Viggo Martinsson got control of the ball when Tord Kiempe tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience was convinced that Tord Kiempe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viggo Martinsson was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Tallboda Gunners's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
