Spectators: 7495 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arif Memduh Özsungur made the kick off which started today's match. 9 minutes into the game, Birkan Özbilge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newells Old Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Supay Puka Huasi FC the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Newells Old Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birkan Özbilge to maneuver through the defense. Newells Old Boys's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Guaberto Oto scored to the left of an out of position Savaşer Kainat, making the score, 1-0. 20 minutes into the game, Rosendo Monte recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Savaşer Kainat. Rosendo Monte showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 27 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's goalkeeper Savaşer Kainat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermengildo Acosta. After 29 minutes, Arif Memduh Özsungur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newells Old Boys and the Supay Puka Huasi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Newells Old Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Memduh Özsungur to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Rosendo Monte reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Savaşer Kainat. The goal made the score 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Matei in the 34th minute of play forced Newells Old Boys's goalkeeper Savaşer Kainat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Savaşer Kainat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Acosta, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's goalkeeper Savaşer Kainat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermengildo Acosta. With a little luck, Newells Old Boys's Savaşer Kainat got control of the ball when Hermengildo Acosta tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guaberto Oto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Hermengildo Acosta came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Supay Puka Huasi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Acosta couldn't finish the play. Savaşer Kainat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Monte in the 58th minute of play. Hermengildo Acosta scored 5-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Savaşer Kainat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute Rosendo Monte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Savaşer Kainat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Supay Puka Huasi FC booed when Newells Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erbatur Bakırcıoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Monte came free, but Savaşer Kainat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kamil Geylani hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. During the 69th minute of the match Birkan Özbilge completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Birkan Özbilge a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Newells Old Boys's Birkan Özbilge got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Monte in the 78th minute of play forced Newells Old Boys's goalkeeper Savaşer Kainat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arif Memduh Özsungur was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Newells Old Boys's Savaşer Kainat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Acosta in the 91st minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Supay Puka Huasi FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
